School Support Staff

Mrs T Roe - School Business Manager

My name is Tracey Roe and I joined St Kenelm's in November 2015 as the School's Business Manager. I hold an MBA and am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). My role is very varied - I can be found working on the school's finances, ensuring Health  and Safety compliance, and assisting with an HR matter often all in one day. I am also a School Governor. I am very much enjoying working at St Kenelm's; the school has a very friendly atmosphere and the staff and children are great to work with.

I live locally to school with my husband and our two children, and can often be found walking our dog in the nearby countryside.

Mrs R Hammond – Office Manager

“I joined St. Kenelm’s in September 2015 as the Office Manager.  I have trained as a Learning Support Assistant but have spent the majority of my career in Facilities Management, working on lots of exciting projects across the UK.

The staff, parents and children alike at St. Kenelm’s have made me feel very welcome and are a pleasure to work with. Every day brings a new challenge which I love as I enjoy being busy!

I live on the Lickey Hills with my husband and my two beautiful girls who are growing up so quickly. I enjoy running, gardening and above all else, walking over the Lickeys with my family”.

Mrs S Buckley - Finance Assistant

"I joined St Kenelm's in March 2016.  I have a background in Administration and Finance, most recently working as a Finance Assistant at a large high school.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the theatre and holidaying in the Lake District.  St Kenelm's is a friendly and happy school and the staff, children and parents have been very warm and welcoming.

I look forward to working with the team to support the school in achieving its aims".

Mr M WIlliams - Caretaker/Site Manager

"I joined St Kenelm's in August 2016, after working in a similar role at a local school for the previous ten years.  I am really working forward to working in this wonderful school enviroment, particularly after the extensive building improements we have undertaken.  Outside of school, I am a keen road cyclist".

Mrs J Roberts - Lunchtime Supervisor Cleaner

“I have worked here at St Kenelm's School for 17 years, my son's came to school here when I first began! I’ve seen many of changes during my time here, with staff, policies and structural. When I’m not busy at school I enjoy getting out and about on my much loved Harley Davidson.”

Mrs L Cartwright - Lunchtime Play Leader

“I’m Mrs Cartwright and I’m the Lunchtime Play Leader. We have many activities for the children to get involved with during their lunch break. Football and/or cricket might be being played on the field, while other children play tennis, basket ball or skipping. We also have hoops, giant chess and two boxes full of soft toys and tea sets – some children enjoy making a “Teddy Bear’s Picnic‟. It’s my responsibility to ensure the children have lots of fun, exercise and fresh air, as well as supervising and dealing with any injury / accidents which may occur. The lunchtime break, between a morning and afternoon full of hard work, should be a very happy and enjoyable time and it’s my pleasure to ensure this happens every day.”

Ms. R Hopkins – Lunchtime Supervisor

“My name is Rachel Hopkins and I started as a lunchtime supervisor in September 2015. I enjoy supervising the children over lunchtime both indoors and outdoors. In my spare time I enjoy playing football and I am also a football coach”.

Mr M Brookes Cleaner-in-Charge Lunchtime Supervisor
