Year 6

Our Year 6 teacher is Mr F Leek (BSc PGCE). We are supported by Learning Support Assistant, Mrs F Plant.

Find out more about Mr F Leek:

“I am Mr Lee ad work with St Kenelm's oldest children. I have worked at St Kenelm's for the last 14 years (13 of those in Year 6). My teaching career started in 1990 and has been spent entirely in Key Stage 2. I adore working with young people and see it as a privilege to have an input into their learning journey. I am subject leader for Science, Design and Technology and Computing within St Kenelm's. During the year I run after school clubs for football and cricket, involving upper keystage teams in competitions across the Wyre Forest and South Birmingham. Beyond St Kenelm's I love playing crown green bowls, walking, gardening and being with my family."

Find out more about Mrs F Plant:

“My name is Fiona Plant and I mainly work in Year 6 but also spend time with the younger children in Year 1 and 2. I have worked at St Kenelm's for 15 years and enjoy the caring and encouraging ethos of the school. I have two grown up children, both of whom attended St Kenelm's. I enjoy cooking, swimming and gardening and wish I could say I enjoy going to the gym!"
